Since co-founding Asset Exchange Company in 2006, Leonard has overseen all of the sales and marketing operations for the company. He is a frequent keynote speaker and an accredited course instructor on the subject of 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. He has presented his popular real estate and tax workshops to over 30,000 Realtors, lenders, title professionals and investors and is the author of dozens of published 1031 Exchange related articles.
Leonard enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two kids and in the mountains skiing or biking.

Adam Skarsgard
Principal
Adam is a California attorney, CPA (inactive), real estate broker and co-founder of Asset Exchange Company. Adam oversees all exchange services for Asset Exchange Company. He has taught accredited 1031 Exchange seminars in five states and has written numerous published articles on 1031 Exchange. Adam has also taught seven semesters at UC Berkeley Extension, including classes on real estate principles and real estate taxation.

Adam is an active member of the Raider Nation and can be found in the black hole at almost every home game.

Janelle McCulloch
Sr. Vice President
Janelle McCulloch has worked in the real estate industry for over a decade. Prior to joining Asset Exchange Company, Janelle worked as a loan closing officer for a Certified SBA Lender in San Francisco. Janelle’s top skill is working with a team of people on a broad range of detailed tasks. Her skills are a perfect fit for exchange accommodation and Asset Exchange Company.
Janelle obtained her B.A. from San Francisco State University with a Major in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. Janelle currently lives in San Francisco and enjoys attending San Francisco Giants games and bicycling.

Wendy Gallagher
Sr. Exchange Officer
Wendy serves as a Senior Exchange Officer for Asset Exchange Company. Her goal is to provide excellent service in a responsive, knowledgeable way. She keeps her clients informed at each step in the exchange process and with the help of their tax advisor, assists them in selecting the most suitable type of exchange for their individual needs. Prior to her experience working as an accommodator, she worked in escrow, both as an escrow officer and branch manager. This enables her to understand the entire closing process, not just the exchange piece.

Jeff Stechmann
Vice President Eastern Region
Jeff Stechmann is the Eastern Regional Manager and has over 30 years of experience in the title insurance and 1031 Exchange industry. Jeff began his career in 1995 as a Marketing Representative in a branch office for a national title insurance underwriter located in New Orleans, LA. During his career, he has held senior level positions in sales and operations management with some of the nation’s largest title insurance underwriters and he was a partner in an independent Florida title agency servicing the entire state of Florida.

Cami Jordan
Exchange Officer
Cami joins us with extensive real estate knowledge and experience. Prior to joining us, Cami was an escrow officer for 10 years and also comes from a real estate family, her father a contractor and her mother a Realtor.
Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon with a big family, she manages a horse training and boarding facility with her 3 children and sister. Fun fact, she ran a half marathon with 3 weeks of training, never having been a runner. Cami loves music and will travel anywhere to see one of her favorite artists.

Patience Garza
Exchange Officer
Patience is a native of San Jose, California, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She later moved to the Sacramento area where she currently resides with her husband and children. Prior to joining Asset Exchange Company, Patience worked for 17 years as a residential real estate agent in multiple Northern California markets where she received multiple awards for her production and customer service.
Patience also has experience working in real estate finance and was an account executive at a large mortgage lender in Sacramento.

Max Huang
Exchange Officer
Max Huang serves as an Exchange Officer for Asset Exchange Company. Before joining Asset Exchange Company, Max worked as an operations assistant for a real estate brokerage firm where he developed a core foundation of real estate principles and communication skills. In that position, he handled daily office operations, performed administrative duties and acted as the primary liaison between escrow companies and real estate agents.
Max is bilingual; besides English, he is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. He believes that language is an excellent opportunity to widen his social circle and enhance social connections. He enjoys forging relationships with non-English speaking clients.

After the downturn of the Market, she transitioned to Intake/Case Management for Law Firms servicing various financial/credit and tax related issues. More recently, she worked in commercial real estate, negotiating 30-year Lease Agreements for Wireless Telecom Cell Site locations. The last couple of years she held a position in Escrow.
