Patience Garza, CES®

Senior Exchange Officer, Team Adam

Patience has facilitated 1031 exchanges in almost every state. As the “quarterback” for Team Adam, she is the point person for nearly every exchange Asset Exchange Company handles, coordinating with clients, agents, escrow officers, and advisors through deadlines and closings.

Patience has earned the Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) designation from the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. To qualify for the exam, candidates must have at least three years of recent, substantial experience at a qualified intermediary company, including advising taxpayers and their professionals on exchanges. The exam tests knowledge of 1031 rules, exchange procedures, and the ethical responsibilities involved in handling client funds. Designees must complete continuing education to maintain the credential.

With more than 17 years of experience as a real estate agent, Patience understands the pressure of multiple escrow closings and works to make each exchange as smooth as possible.
